What We
Teach Here

Stage presence is not instinct — it is a skill built through structured repetition across 4 distinct disciplines.

At Platinex Psi, every program is built around live performance scenarios, with feedback cycles that run every 3 sessions. You work with real scripts, real audiences, and real pressure.

6 active programs across voice, movement, and character work

12 weeks — the minimum arc for any serious stage discipline

Each program below addresses a specific gap in stage readiness — from the actor who freezes under lights to the one who cannot hold a scene partner's focus for 30 seconds.

Voice & Speech

Vocal Presence for Stage

Stage voice is not about volume — it is about projection without strain and articulation under emotional pressure. Over 8 weeks, participants work on breath support, resonance placement, and text delivery across varying hall sizes. The program uses 14 classical and contemporary monologue texts as raw material.

Character

Character Construction

Building a character from a 2-page scene extract requires more than emotional memory. Participants learn to read subtext, track character objectives across 5 scene beats, and hold consistency across 90-minute rehearsal blocks.

Movement

Physical Stage Language

Posture, spatial awareness, and gesture economy — 3 areas that most acting programs treat as secondary. This 6-week intensive focuses on how the body reads from row 7 and from row 22, with video review after every 3rd session.

Scene Work

Two-Person Scene Lab

Listening is harder than speaking on stage. Participants work in fixed pairs through a 12-session arc, cycling through 4 scene types — conflict, reconciliation, exposition, and silence — with structured instructor notes after each run.

How sessions run

Structure Behind Every Session

Each class at Platinex Psi follows a deliberate arc — not a loose collection of exercises.

The first 15 minutes of every session address physical and vocal readiness, not because it is routine, but because cold bodies and tight throats produce dishonest acting. The remaining 75 minutes split between new material and review of the previous session's work. Nothing is discarded after one attempt.

Participants receive written notes within 24 hours of each session — specific observations, not general encouragement. Over a 12-week program, that amounts to roughly 36 documented feedback points per person.

  • 01

    Placement assessment before week 1

A 20-minute diagnostic session determines which track fits — not a questionnaire, an actual scene reading.

  • 02

    Fixed cohort, no mid-cycle additions

Groups of 8 stay together for the full program. Continuity between participants is part of the training environment.

  • 03

    Open showing at week 12

Every program ends with a 40-minute showing for invited guests — not a performance, a demonstration of process.
