How sessions actually run

Three distinct working formats repeat across all 36 sessions — each designed for a different kind of attention.

Warm-up block

20 minutes of structured physical and vocal exercises. The sequence changes weekly across the 12-week cycle — no two warm-ups repeat in the same order.

Scene work

Pairs and trios work through assigned scenes while the instructor and the rest of the group observe. Each student performs at least once per session — no passive attendance.

Feedback round

The final 30 minutes are structured critique — instructor-led, specific to what was observed that session. Vague praise is not part of the format.

Bohdan Kravets — lead instructor at Platinex Psi

Bohdan Kravets

Lead Instructor — Stage Direction

"I worked with students who had zero stage experience and watched them perform in front of 80 people after 12 weeks. The program is demanding — that's the point."

Daryna Savchuk — voice and movement instructor at Platinex Psi

Daryna Savchuk

Voice & Movement Instructor

"Most students arrive thinking voice work is about volume. By session 8, they understand it's about breath control and placement — that shift usually takes 6 to 7 weeks to click."

Maksym Holovatyi — scene work instructor at Platinex Psi

Maksym Holovatyi

Scene Work Instructor

"Scene construction is taught through repetition — the same 3-minute scene gets run at least 7 times across different sessions. Each run exposes something the previous one didn't."

No prior experience is required. The program starts from foundational body awareness and voice exercises, building toward scene work over 12 weeks. Students with 0 to 3 years of informal experience tend to progress the fastest because they haven't built rigid habits yet.

Each cohort is capped at 14 participants. This limit exists so that every student receives individual feedback during each of the 36 sessions in the full program — not just during dedicated critique rounds.

Sessions are not recorded, since live physical presence is central to stage work. Students who miss more than 3 sessions in a 12-week block are asked to repeat that block before continuing to the next module.

Yes. The program closes with a 45-minute open showcase where students perform 2 to 4 minute scenes developed during the final module. Audience attendance is open to family and invited guests — it is a real performance, not a classroom exercise.

All sessions take place at our studio at Mykoly Trublaini St, 2А, Kyiv. The space is a dedicated rehearsal room — not a shared multipurpose hall — with a sprung floor and adjustable lighting for stage simulation.
