Platinex Psi works with people who want to understand what actually happens between an actor and an audience — not as theory, but as something you can feel and repeat. The programme runs across structured modules, each one designed to close a specific gap between knowing and doing.

Every session is built around a single question: what does this actor need to change right now? Not a curriculum point, not a ticked box — a real adjustment that produces a different result on the same day it is practised.
The method draws on 3 distinct physical disciplines — Laban movement analysis, Meisner-derived repetition work, and breath-led voice placement — combined inside a single rehearsal structure. Students spend roughly 70% of each session on their feet, not in discussion.
The correction that matters most is the one that arrives while the body is still moving — not after it has stopped and cooled down.
The instructors who deliver the work
Both lead instructors have worked professionally on stage before teaching it. Daryna Kovalchuk trained at the Kharkiv National University of Arts and spent 6 seasons as a repertory actress before joining Platinex Psi in 2018. Olena Sydorenko holds a postgraduate qualification in physical theatre from a programme in Warsaw and has directed 14 original productions since 2016.
Neither of them uses the word "talent" as an explanation for why something works or does not. Every session is built on observable, repeatable physical and vocal adjustments.

What this programme does differently
Three things separate the work here from most acting classes available in the region — not because of what others lack, but because of specific choices made when the programme was designed.
Performance is built into the structure
Every semester closes with a public performance — not a class showing, a real event with an audience that does not know the students. Preparation for it begins in session 3, not session 16.
Scene partners rotate every 3 weeks
Working with the same person for months creates comfort, not range. Rotating partners every 3 weeks forces real listening and genuine adjustment — the two things most acting classes talk about but rarely engineer.
Text arrives after the body is ready
The first 4 sessions of every module contain no scripted text. Physical and vocal readiness comes first. Lines are added when the instrument is tuned, not before.
What the programme involves
A full semester runs 18 weeks. There are two entry points per year — September and February. Group sizes are capped at 12, and enrolment closes once that number is reached.

What stays after the semester ends
Most of what gets taught in acting classes dissolves within a few months of the last session. The physical habits built here are different — they accumulate across repetition and stay because they are grounded in how the body actually works under pressure.
Students who complete 2 or more semesters report a measurable shift in how they handle unscripted situations — auditions, presentations, difficult conversations — not because they were coached on those, but because the underlying instrument changed.

Graduates return for 4 open rehearsal sessions per year — structured practice, not a reunion. Free of charge, limited to 16 participants per date.
